In the spring of 2008 California Athletics for Home Schools will organize a state wide baseball league for high school age boys. The teams will begin practicing in March, 2008. Practices will be held 1-2 days a week 3:00-5:00. Games will be held once a week, generally on Friday afternoons, 3:00-5:00, but you will need to keep some flexibility in your schedule for possible Thursday afternoon or evening games, or some possible Saturday games. Field availability drives the entire schedule. If you are interested in this opportunity, please register on this website on the main page. This will will show your interest, but not commit you to a team. Please call Todd Nash if you have questions, and register on this website immediately if you will play baseball this spring. Costs:
Our goal is to have several teams in San Diego County as well as teams in South Orange County, North OC, Torrance, Riverside, Temecula, and other sites. Register for the league, and you will be grouped with other players in your area to form a team. You do not owe any money until a team is formed in your area. Schools, ISPs, or other groups may join the league as an already formed team. Contact Todd Nash for details and costs for that arrangement. CAHS will strive to maintain a strong Christian testimony in all of our games and practices, and in our conduct on and off the field. Coaches will be tasked with this character development as a primary goal of the season. To register for the baseball team, click on the REGISTER button on the main page. If you are at all interested, please register immediately! If you wait to see what happens, nothing will happen! If you have further questions, please call or email Todd Nash at (760) 727-3604 or CalAthletics@sbcglobal.net.
