Homework

 

Following is the homework for the fall, 2007 basketball class.  Have your children practice the following drills for 15-30 minutes each day.  You can alternate between drills is time is short, or go through all the drills.  Remember, you need to get 20 minutes a day (average) for kids 8th grade and under, and 40 minutes a day (average) for kids in high school.  For 8th grade & under PE is required each year.  For high school, PE is required 2 out of 4 years.

Ball Handling Drills:

1. Move ball around waist either direction

2. Move ball around either leg with that leg extended in front, both directions.
