To register in any California Athletics for Home Schools class or sport, parents must first read and accept the following release of liability and cancellation/refund policy.  Students may not enroll themselves without the parent first reading and accepting this release.  There are no exceptions to this policy, so please do not ask.  If you are unwilling to accept this release, your children may not participate in any California Athletics activities.  Ultimately, you as the parent are responsible for the safety of your child, and you should supervise any activities they participate in that you are concerned about.  You as the parent should remove your child from any activities in which you do not wish them to participate.  When you click on the "I Agree" you will be taken to the enrollment page.  If you do not agree, you may view the information website, but you will not be able to register for any activities.

If you have trouble reaching the registration page after clicking the "I AGREE" button, you may want to try changing browsers.  Some Netscape users have had trouble, and been able to reach the registration link after opening Internet Explorer and trying the link from there.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

You should also understand that once you sign up for, pay for, and begin a class or event with California Athletics, there are no refunds for cancellations for  missed classes, whatever the reason may be.  Once classes are set up and begun, you have paid for a space in that class, not for periods of instruction, so there are no partial refunds for missed classes.  CAHS has committed resources for the duration of the class based on opening enrollments.  No refunds will be given.  By agreeing below, prior to registering, you are also agreeing that you understand the no refund policy.  If you want to "check it out" first, you are free to observe a CAHS class prior to enrolling, but understand that your children may not participate in any class in any way without being fully enrolled and paid.  If the class or event is cancelled by CAHS prior to starting, your check will be shredded or returned.  Clicking "I AGREE" to start the registration process indicates your agreement with this policy.  If you do not agree, you may not participate.

Release of Liability

I hereby give my permission for the minors I will register to participate in the, activities for which I am registering them and hereby waive, release, and discharge any and all claims or rights to claims for damages, personal injury, death, or property damage which I may have, or which may hereafter accrue to me, as a result of said minor’s participation in said activity.  This release is intended to discharge in advance California Athletics for Home Schools (also listed as California Athletics, CalAthletics, and CAHS), Todd Nash, his agents or representatives, any other promoters or sponsors of said activity, the city in which the activity is taking place, the owners or managers of any facility at which this activity is taking place, and any and all liability arising out of or in any way connected with said minor’s participation in said activity. Parents agree to take FULL responsibility for the safety and supervision of their children at any class or event run by CAHS, and agree to remain at the site as they deem necessary at all times their children are present, supervising them at all times as they deem necessary.

 I further understand that accidents occasionally occur during said activity, and that participation in said activity can occasionally lead to personal injury or property damage as a consequence thereof.  Knowing these risks, nevertheless, on behalf of said minor child, I hereby agree to assume those risks and to release and hold harmless all persons or entities mentioned above who, for any reason, might otherwise be liable to me, or my heirs or assigns for damages.

 It is further understood and agreed that this waiver, release and assumption of risk is to be binding on my heirs and assigns.
