Soccer Classes, Southern California, Jan-Feb, 2010 These are directions to the soccer classes in Southern California held in January and February of 2010. Classes will start the week of January 4, 2010. At each class site, look for me (Todd Nash) in a Blue Chevy Trailblazer. I'm 6' 4", 220 lbs, wearing a blue t-shirt with a white CAHS logo on it. I will park and immediately start unloading equipment - send your kids over to help! Monday 9:00-10:00 Glendale: Cresenta Valley Park: On mapquest.com see the intersection of Honolulu Ave and New York Ave in Glendale. Take I-210, exit Pennsylvania Ave in La Cresenta (Glendale), turn south, turn right on Honolulu, turn left on New York at the beginning of the park, park immediately on the right side on the street. The baseball diamond is just west of the playground on that corner. Watch for Todd to arrive in a blue Chevy Trailblazer and help unload the gear. We will meet at the baseball diamond on the east side of the park, just off the intersection of Honolulu and New York and do the class in the open outfield area of the baseball diamond. Take I-8 to College North, do a U-Turn at the light at Lance/Camino Rico, then when you are going south on College make your first right turn on Eldergarderns St, then your second left on Wenrich St, the park is on your left after 1 block. Please leave some street parking clear right next to the ramp leading up to the basketball court so I can get the basket up there easily! This is a beautiful park with a great playground for your younger kids, and lots of shade and picnic tables for you and your older kids to do school or have a nice picnic lunch after class!
