Basketball Classes, Southern California, Sept-Nov, 2008

These are directions to the Basketball Classes in Southern California held in September-November of 2009.  At each class site, look for me (Todd Nash) in a Blue Chevy Trailblazer.  I'm 6' 4", 225 lbs, wearing a blue t-shirt with a white CAHS logo on it.  I will park and immediately start unloading equipment - send your kids over to help!

Tuesday 9:00-10:00 La Mesa:  Princess Del Serro Park.  Thomas Guide p. 1250, C-6.  Mapquest Wenrich Dr & Snowbond St in San Diego.  This is a beautiful new park with the nicest playground I have seen in a long time!  Take I-8 to College North, do a U-Turn at the light at Lance/Camino Rico, then when you are going south on College make your first right turn on Eldergarderns St, then your second left on Wenrich St, the park is on your left after 1 block.  Please leave some street parking clear right next to the ramp leading up to the basketball court so I can get the basket up there easily!  This is a beautiful park with a great playground for your younger kids, and lots of shade and picnic tables for you and your older kids to do school or have a nice picnic lunch after class!

Tuesday 10:45-11:45 Carlsbad:  Poinsettia Park, Carlsbad.  Thomas Guide p. 1127, A-4.  Mapquest the intersection of Hidden Valley Road and Plum Tree Rd in Carlsbad.  Take I-5 to Palomar Airport Road East, turn right (south) on Hidden Valley Rd, the park is on the right after 3/4 mile, enter and turn right inside the entrance, then follow it to the playground area and meet there.  We will meet in the parking lot and walk together to the basketball courts.  You should be in the parking lot on the NORTH side of the park, next to the soccer field.

Tuesday 12:15-1:15 Rancho Penasquitos:  Ridgewood Park: Thomas Guide p. 1189, F-6.  Take I-15 to the Rancho Penasquitos/Poway Rd exit, go west on Rancho Penasquitos Blvd, at the first light, turn left on Paseo Montril.  The park will be after a 90 degree turn to the right on your left side.  Park on the street and wait to help unload and carry gear to the court on the opposite side of the park.

Tuesday, 1:45-2:45 San Marcos:   Take 15 to 78 WEST, turn right off the exit at Twin Oaks Valley Road to go North, after 1 mile turn left on Borden at a light.  The park is on the right after 1/2 mile.  You will turn right on Bel Esprit Circle and the park is there at the intersection on the right side of Borden.  If you are coming from the West, take 78 to Las Posas, exit there and turn right, then immediately right again on Las Posas, after 3/4 mile turn right on Borden, the park will be on your left just after you pass the Palomar College parking lot (about 3/4 mile down).
